We hold Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) certification as a WBE/DBE organization.  SDO certification expands the market opportunities of minority and woman-owned enterprises by certifying their eligibility to participate in affirmative business opportunity programs.

SDO Certification:

Supplier Diversity Office, formerly State Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance (SOMWBA)—SDO is an agency within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts promoting the development of business enterprises and non-profit organizations owned and operated by minorities or women. SDO certification expands the market opportunities for minority and women owned enterprises by certifying their eligibility to participate in affirmative business opportunity programs.

DBE Certification:

Disadvantaged Business Enterprises—DBE certification is a Federal designation used in conjunction with the US Department of Transportation (US DOT) funded projects and contracts. State agencies and organizations using DBE certification include the Executive Office of Transportation, Massachusetts Highway Department (MHD), the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority (Massport), The Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission (MAC), Worcester Airport, Barnstable Airport, and many regional transit authorities throughout the Commonwealth.

BICSI:

BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International) is a world-wide organization that establishes performance standards for structured cabling systems, network components and all associated systems.  Additionally BICSI trains, tests and awards credentials to RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) candidates. To obtain a credential as an RCDD, the candidate must provide 10 years of documented design experience, as well as pass a three-hour intensive closed book exam.  There is also a requirement to gain the latest knowledge in the industry during a three-year registration period, by compiling 40 hours of approved CEC training. The RCDD certification is manufacturer agnostic, and the RCDD is required to adhere to a set of strict standards in their professional conduct.
